Many Windows laptops now turn on BitLocker encryption automatically. If the drive or laptop fails, recovering the data also needs your BitLocker recovery key.

Your recovery key is often saved in your Microsoft account at account.microsoft.com under Devices. We help you find it. Without the key, encrypted data can’t be read by anyone.
How it works
We assess the drive, tell you what’s wrong and what recovery will cost, and only go ahead when you agree. We work on a copy of the drive wherever possible, so your original isn’t put at further risk.
