Stick drift is the most common controller fault: the character or camera moves on its own. We replace the analogue stick modules and fix buttons, triggers and charging ports on most controllers, usually for much less than a new one.
Controllers we repair
- PS5 DualSense and DualSense Edge
- PS4 DualShock 4
- Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One controllers, including Elite Series 2
- Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 Joy-Con, and Pro controllers
- Steam Deck and handheld PC sticks
Faults we fix
- Stick drift and sticks that don’t centre
- Sticky, dead or double-pressing buttons
- Broken adaptive triggers and bumpers
- Worn USB-C charging ports
- Batteries that no longer hold charge
We can fit Hall effect sticks to many controllers. They use magnets instead of worn contacts, so they are far less likely to drift again.
Questions we get asked
Is it worth repairing a controller?
For DualSense, DualSense Edge and Elite controllers, almost always. For older or cheaper pads we tell you if a new one makes more sense.
