A failing graphics card shows up as no display, coloured lines and blocks, games crashing, or fans running at full speed. We test the card in a known-good PC to find out whether the card, the power supply or the motherboard is at fault.
Graphics card faults we fix
- No signal to the monitor
- Artefacts, flickering or coloured blocks on screen
- Crashes and driver resets in games
- Noisy, failed or rattling fans
- Overheating: dried thermal paste and pads
- Melted 12VHPWR / 12V-2×6 power connectors on high-end cards
Replacement and upgrades
If a card isn’t worth repairing, we recommend a replacement that suits your power supply, case and budget, fit it and install the drivers.
We diagnose the fault on the bench and agree the price with you before any work starts. Many repairs are finished the same day when parts are in stock, and all come with a 3-month warranty.
Questions we get asked
Can you repair a burnt power connector?
Often, yes. We replace the connector on the card and check the cable and power supply, which are often the cause.
Do you fit cards I buy myself?
Yes. We check it is compatible with your PC first.
