Some portable SSDs have had firmware problems that caused sudden data loss. If yours has stopped appearing, stop reconnecting it and bring it in.
How it works
We assess the drive, tell you what’s wrong and what recovery will cost, and only go ahead when you agree. We work on a copy of the drive wherever possible, so your original isn’t put at further risk.
